A dynamic and rapidly growing real estate business who are specialists in investment, operational advisory, and development consultancy are looking for a Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to join their operational & development consultancy division. The business focuses on Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent (BtR), Private Rented Sector (PRS), Co-living and Hospitality. Their unique blend of investment and operational expertise allows them to identify hidden opportunities and drive competitive advantage for leading UK institutions.

They are looking for a proactive, focused, and driven individual to work on a range of asset management mandates for some of the UK's most prominent investors into operational real estate. The mandates are for assets ranging from pre-completion developments to first-generation assets across the UK and Ireland.

The projects you will work on involve tasks such as:

  • Reviewing annual operating budgets and operator performance.
  • Implementing changes to the operating models.
  • Evaluating and assessing rents for properties within the portfolio.
  • Advising clients on leasing strategies for each property.
  • Implementing dynamic pricing models across the portfolios.
  • Advising clients on asset mobilisation and stabilisation.
  • Reviewing third party property management agreements.
  • Negotiating a variety of partnership agreements including nominations and referral agreements for a range of developer and university clients.
  • Assisting with financial modelling of development viability appraisals and discounted cashflows for operational assets and portfolios.
