Join a leading college as a Digital Learning and Innovation Specialist, where you’ll drive the future of education by creating and supporting the development of innovative digital learning resources., * Location: Ballymena (please note this location can change based on the successful candidate’s location to facilitate an easier commute)

• Rate of Pay: £16.14 per hour

• Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week)

• Monday to Friday

You’ll collaborate with staff, students, and the Creative Excellence Manager to shape engaging and accessible learning experiences. This is your opportunity to blend creativity with technology, enhancing teaching and learning through cutting-edge tools like Generative AI, VR/AR, and game-based learning., * Professional Development: Lead workshops, webinars, and training sessions for staff on digital pedagogy, innovative teaching methods, and the effective use of emerging technologies.

• Resource Creation: Design user guides and training materials, including screencasts and online resources, to enhance the use of digital tools in education.

• Student Engagement: Train and supervise placement students in digital pedagogy, guiding them in producing high-quality educational content.

• Innovation & Research: Explore and implement innovative practices like Generative AI, VR/AR, and game-based learning to advance digital teaching methods.

• Collaboration: Work with academic staff to develop interactive and accessible digital learning resources that align with educational objectives.

• Customer Service: Provide hands-on support to staff, assisting them in creating and managing digital resources for an enhanced learning experience.

• Tech Integration: Support the integration of digital tools with the College’s Learning Management System (Canvas) and offer staff guidance on maximising these platforms.

• Generative AI Expertise: Assist staff in leveraging approved Generative AI platforms to create effective and engaging learning content.

• A degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a similarly relevant field.

• Digital Pedagogy: Experience in designing and delivering training sessions on digital pedagogy and innovative teaching methods.

• Content Creation: Ability to create and maintain training resources and user guides in various formats.

• Instructional Design: Experience collaborating with staff to develop interactive digital learning resources aligned with learning objectives.

• Customer Service: Strong skills in assisting staff with innovative digital learning resource creation and engaging content development.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning resource accessibility.

• Platform Management: Experience maintaining digital learning platforms to improve teaching and learning experiences.

• Generative AI: Knowledge of Generative AI platforms and their application in education.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with academic staff, students, and the Creative Excellence Manager.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges with targeted guidance and training.
