RI Talent is acting on behalf of a highly regarded London law firm seeking to appoint an exceptional Senior Employment Solicitor or Partner as part of a strategic growth hire. This opportunity is aimed at top-performing employment lawyers currently practicing in leading City, West End or boutique firms, who are looking for a platform that offers genuine influence, autonomy and long-term progression.
The successful individual will play a key role within an established Employment practice, working on sophisticated, high-value employment matters and contributing to the future direction of the department. The role offers exposure to complex contentious and advisory work, including:
- High-value remuneration and bonus disputes
- Senior exits, dismissals and executive terminations
- Discrimination, whistleblowing and reputationally sensitive matters
- TUPE, restructurings and workforce change
- Strategic employment and HR advisory at board level
For Partner-level candidates, there is real scope to shape strategy, grow the practice and build a market-facing profile, supported by a collaborative and commercially minded leadership team.
This role will appeal to lawyers who:
- Are qualified solicitors with 8+ years' PQE in employment law
- Have trained and/or practised at a respected London firm
- Are technically excellent with strong commercial instincts
- Have a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
- Value quality of work, autonomy and influence over hierarchy
- Are considering a long-term career move rather than a lateral sidestep
A credible alternative to traditional City structures. Genuine opportunity to influence and shape an Employment practice. High-quality work without unnecessary internal politics. Competitive remuneration and flexible working. A firm that values senior lawyers as trusted advisors, not just fee-earners.
