We’re working with a top-tier AJ100 architecture practice in Central London who are looking to appoint a Passivhaus Designer to join their growing sustainability-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a major high-density residential scheme that’s set to push the boundaries of sustainable design in London. The project comprises four brick-clad residential towers, rising from 11 to 14 storeys, alongside two flexible retail units and train crew accommodation. The scheme is targeting Passivhaus Classic Certification and represents an innovative approach to low-energy, high-density housing - a genuine flagship project for the studio. Currently at RIBA Stage 2, the project will progress through Stages 3 and 4, with Gateway 2 submission due September 2026. You’ll join the team at an exciting point, helping to shape the project’s technical and environmental strategy through detailed design and beyond.
About You
- Qualified Passivhaus Designer or Consultant or strong interest in sustainability
- Demonstrable experience working on certified or certifiable Passivhaus projects
- Strong technical understanding of thermal bridging, airtightness, and fabric-first principles
- Background in multi-residential or high-density schemes
- Confident communicator and collaborator within multi-disciplinary teams
- Proficient in Revit and familiar with PHPP or related tools
