We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join a stunning independent food-led pub with rooms in West Sussex, approximately 30 minutes from Worthing and 20 minutes from Midhurst. This well-established pub and restaurant has an excellent reputation for modern British dining, outstanding hospitality and luxury guest accommodation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional currently working as an Assistant Manager, Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager to join a successful independent business.
The Job
Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, restaurant and 8 guest rooms, ensuring excellent guest experience, high standards and strong commercial performance.
The Candidate
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Manager, Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager with previous success in quality food-led pubs, restaurants or hotels. You will have:
- Front of House management experience
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Restaurant operations experience
- A passion for hospitality and guest experience
- The ability to build relationships with customers and the local community
The Package
Package to £43,000, comprising a basic salary in the region of £38,000, negotiable depending on experience, plus tronc of approximately £5,000 per annum.
