We are seeking an experienced Senior Baker to join a well-established, award-winning artisan bakery operating from a central production site in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled baker seeking stability, strong earnings, and genuine work-life balance, with many evenings free, structured systems, and high-quality artisan production.
The Role
- Produce a wide range of artisan breads to a consistently high standard
- Support the Head Baker with daily production and bakery operations
- Contribute to recipe development and product improvement
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and organisation standards
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets
- Assist with stock control and ingredient ordering
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Baker or strong Baker ready to step up
- Solid knowledge of artisan bread production
- Good understanding of food safety and best practice
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Passion for quality and continuous improvement
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary £36,000 – £38,000 (based on 40-hour contract) or £40,500 – £42,750 (pro rata for 45 hours)
- Bonus & tips worth approximately £3,200 per year
- Total package up to £46,000 OTE (45 hours)
- Accommodation available – £490/month fully inclusive (ideal for relocation)

Hours
- 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
