About the Venue: Mamma Mia! The Party is a unique combination of ABBA inspired musical theatre and Greek banquet - all within an elaborate setting specifically designed to entertain over 500 guests per show.

Role Purpose: Join an exciting immersive musical theatre dining experience where no two shifts are the same. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to step into a leadership role, supporting a high-volume bar operation while delivering exceptional guest experiences at one of London's most iconic entertainment venues. As Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Deputy General Manager Bars in the operational and administrative management of the venue's bar operations. You'll play a key role in driving revenue, developing the team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery across a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the management and performance of the bar operation across the venue
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the bar team to deliver exceptional service standards
  • Creating and managing rotas for the bar team
  • Delivering engaging pre-shift briefings and reviewing pre-orders and service plans
  • Driving beverage sales and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue
  • Supporting VIP and group service strategies to enhance the guest experience

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, Senior Supervisor, or similar hospitality leadership role
  • Strong understanding of high-volume hospitality operations
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a focus on driving sales and revenue
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Good to Know: This role is based at The O2, North Greenwich, and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts, including finishes after midnight. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and comfortable working within a lively, immersive dining and entertainment environment.
