A global fashion retailer is seeking a technical delivery lead to support and operate a large-scale ecommerce platform. This role owns day-to-day platform operations, service delivery, and continuous improvement across the ecommerce ecosystem. The role is hands-on and balances operational stability, incident ownership, stakeholder management, and delivery of platform enhancements.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing front-end and back-end operations, product maintenance, releases, updates, monitoring, alerting, and peak trading readiness.
- Ensuring stable performance across customer experience, order fulfilment, payments, and digital marketing.
- Improving incident management, escalation processes, and knowledge management.
- Coordinating global support teams.
- Working closely with UX, design, merchandising, logistics, technology teams, and external partners.
- Supporting requirements definition, documentation, and delivery tracking using Jira and Confluence.
- Coordinating enhancements from discovery through testing and UAT.
- Driving service improvement initiatives and ROI analysis.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years’ experience in ecommerce or retail digital platforms and technical service delivery, strong Agile and stakeholder management experience, the ability to work with development teams and third-party vendors, SQL-based data analysis skills, experience producing system documentation, working knowledge of HTML, AWS, and microservices, familiarity with CRM, CMS, analytics, and optimisation tools, strong communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
