This luxury retailer has an instantly recognisable name both in the UK and globally. The business ethos is to be customer obsessed and every decision it makes is based on offering exceptional customer service standards in its stores. The company has a long history for being a people centric culture, which focuses on employee well-being and doing what is right for the team. They are focused on internal development, bringing talent through the ranks and have a track record of developing from within.
The company is looking to recruit a store manager for one of its flagship locations. The role of store manager within this organization is much more than your typical role on the high street. As well as leading your team to deliver the highest standards of service and leading them to fulfil their potential, this is a highly commercial role. You will work closely with the buying team to ensure that you have the right product and necessary stock levels to deliver the commercial performance expected. You will have the autonomy to make decisions around product placement, store layout and stock levels which is something that isn’t ordinarily given in most organisations.
Coming from a service focused, retail environment, you will be able to demonstrate the skills and experience to lead this business to achieve its goals. You’ll enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and have a proven track record of making successful commercial decisions which have delivered growth in your previous roles. Product experience is less important; the ability to lead and motivate your team is more so. Being able to demonstrate trading your business based on your customer understanding, along with evidence of sales growth made with decisions based on product and range, are of equal importance.
In return the role is paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 plus the potential to earn an additional £10,000 in bonus. You will also enjoy working one weekend in two. There are also a huge range of benefits available to employees of this organisation which include heavily discounted products and discounts on a range of organisations across the UK.
