A premium food retailer is looking to recruit for a senior demand planning analyst to join its established team in London. Part of one of the largest companies in the world, this retailer specialises in providing the highest quality product to its customers. Their mission is to provide the highest quality products, sourced in the most ethical way, that has a strong heritage from its local suppliers. The company puts the customer at the heart of everything they do.

This retailer has a highly people centric culture and encourages every employee to be their own authentic version of themselves. This is a new role into the commercial function at this food retailer. You will be responsible for deriving data-driven, actionable insights that contribute to the overall productivity and sales performance of the company.

The role supports the heads of buying and commercial functions to provide strategic planning and direction setting by ensuring the best analytical practices and techniques are used to provide recommendations that improve promotional performance. You’ll make recommendations for space and assortment planning, space management, and related processes in support of various department and marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will have gained experience in a consumer facing environment and be able to demonstrate proficiency in pricing, space planning and product assortment. You will be an expert using all Microsoft applications and be a data driven, commercially driven individual with a curious mindset. That mindset will seek out opportunities to make recommendations to drive the commercial performance of this organisation to the next level.

In return the role is paying up to £70,000 as a basic salary, plus an annual bonus of up to £7,000. There are share options given to you each year which totals around £3,500. The office base is in the City in a beautiful area of London.
