We are partnering with a well-established, fashion-led footwear retailer renowned for its trend-driven collections and premium high street presence. With an exciting portfolio of both own-brand and globally recognised footwear brands, the business continues to grow and is looking for a supply chain & distribution coordinator to join its collaborative head office team in Old Street, London.
Reporting to the head of supply chain & distribution, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses and ultimately to stores, wholesale partners and e-commerce customers. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating import shipments
- Liaising with freight forwarders
- Managing customs documentation and HMRC compliance
- Monitoring deliveries
- Maintaining shipment tracking
- Supporting stock integrity
- Resolving logistics issues
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting store openings and closures
- Overseeing delivery queries and claims
- Providing operational support across the wider supply chain and distribution function
To be successful, you will have 2–3 years' experience within supply chain, logistics or distribution, with a solid understanding of import and export customs procedures and experience working with freight forwarders. You will possess strong Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a willingness to work independently are essential.
