Join an established and growing fashion business with an exciting digital-first strategy and a strong focus on expanding its marketplace presence.
Marketplace is currently one of the biggest growth areas for the business, offering the opportunity to play a key role in accelerating online sales and shaping the future marketplace strategy.
While you’ll gain exposure to major platforms including ASOS, Amazon and Next, your primary focus will be Zalando, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Zalando expertise to take ownership of a high-growth channel.
As marketplace trading & content manager, you will take ownership of Zalando marketplace trading, driving sales, visibility and conversion through effective commercial trading, campaign execution and content optimisation.
You’ll monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, manage key trading moments and work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Operations and Marketing to maximise performance.
You’ll also own the quality and accuracy of product listings, resolving issues such as suppressed products, missing information and poor categorisation.
The role will involve managing key stakeholders and deputising for the head of marketplace trading & content when required.
We’re looking for someone with 2–3+ years’ hands-on experience trading through the Zalando (a must-have – please state clearly on your CV where you’ve had this experience with them), with a strong understanding of how marketplace performance is driven through visibility, conversion, content and commercial activity.
You’ll be highly analytical and confident using marketplace tools, dashboards and insights to turn data into action, with experience of marketplace media such as ZMS and AMS desirable.
You’ll be commercially focused, highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities, while also being a confident communicator who can build strong relationships and work effectively across buying, merchandising, operations and marketing.
The role offers a salary of £60,000–£65,000, depending on experience, alongside the opportunity to join a growing marketplace function with significant scope for development and impact.
The role operates on a hybrid basis, typically two days per week in the office (usually Monday and Thursday), with the remainder working remotely.
You’ll also benefit from exposure to a rapidly expanding area of the business and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
