I'm delighted to be partnering with a leading high-street footwear brand, who is looking for a senior footwear technologist (also open to technologist level). The role is hybrid, four days in the office and one from home. They are however, open to someone wanting to work part-time and do 3-4 days in the office.

The brand's concept is catwalk-inspired, trend-responsive and statement-led. This role will be overseeing all of the ladies' footwear own-brand product. You'll be responsible for product quality and fit ownership, ensuring products meet quality standards before production and sale. You'll set and review technical standards for materials, construction, fit and performance.

The role requires someone who has experience in women's footwear, who can build strong relationships with suppliers and factories, and keep a firm eye on customer returns and satisfaction. You'll also have experience liaising with warehouse quality inspection teams, providing training and education to other teams on quality and fit standards and be an expert in UK and international footwear regulations.

This is an opportunity to join an established retail business with ambitious growth plans, strong brand equity and a large, engaged customer base. You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, influence commercial performance and build meaningful long-term customer relationships at scale.

In return, the company offers a salary of up to £51k depending on experience, employee discount, pension scheme, and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office four days a week and one from home. The office is based in central London.
