We are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's leading fashion retailers who are looking for a junior technologist to join the women's footwear and accessories team. Responsibilities
- Manage product fit, quality, testing, and supplier compliance across your department.
- Work closely with design, buying, merchandising, supply chain, and external suppliers.
- Oversee the product development process from initial fit through to production.
- Lead fit sessions, review technical specifications, manage testing and compliance requirements.
- Analyse returns data, conduct store visits, and work proactively with suppliers to drive continuous improvements in quality, fit, and product performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years' experience within a garment technology, technical, or quality role, ideally gained within a fashion retailer or supplier environment.
- Strong knowledge of garment fit, grading, product construction, fabrics, trims, testing, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse data, assess risk, negotiate with suppliers, and make commercially sound decisions that balance quality, customer expectations, and cost.
