A national retailer is looking to recruit for a store manager to work in one of its multi-million pound flagship locations. This luxury retailer specialises in premium products, boasting a large number of exclusive products that you are not able to find anywhere else on the high street. The UK arm of the company is performing extremely well, despite the current economic climate. They have been beating sales forecasts and are delivering a record-breaking sales performance.

The role of a store manager in this organisation is slightly different to a normal retail management role. It is to drive sales through the effective management of product range, placement and stock holding. You will work with a number of brand partners, collaborating with these brands to ensure the sales and commercial targets are achieved. There is a large amount of stakeholder relationship management required in the role. You will be liaising with buying, merchandising, space planning and suppliers, as well as the team based in the store itself. You will get the opportunity to make a real impact in a business where your voice is heard.

The ideal candidate will come from a retail environment which has a strong focus on driving an elevated level of service. You’ll be an experienced leader who has a proactive approach and the ability to influence a large stakeholder group. You will have the autonomy over the layout of the store, the depth of range stocked and promotional planning.
