This is a product development role, to work on the brand's own-branded product. Experience in footwear is highly desirable.
The junior buyer will manage their own category and trade the department. They will oversee:
- Trend forecasting
- Product development
- Fit sessions
- Fabric sign-offs
- Supplier negotiation
You will collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing and suppliers to ensure product launches are met. You will have experience managing a buying admin assistant.
The ideal candidate will be highly creative and excellent with trend forecasting to deliver a commercial range. You will have excellent supplier relationships to improve margins and profit growth for your product area. You will be highly organised and have a very high attention to detail.
In return, the company offers a salary of £35,000, employee discount, pension scheme, and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office four days a week and one from home.
