A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior merchandiser to join a statement-led footwear brand. The brand's concept is catwalk-inspired, trend-responsive and statement-led. Their vision is to always make the shoe a central part of the outfit. They are edgy, contemporary and confident.
The junior merchandiser will manage their own category and trade the department. They will oversee forecasting, manage line cards, sales analysis, OTB, prepare data for sign-offs and strategy packs. You will manage margin, markdowns and promotions.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with buying, marketing and suppliers to ensure product launches are met. You will have experience managing a team. The ideal candidate will be highly confident with trading, have exceptional analytical skills and have a deep understanding of the footwear market.
You will approach problem-solving tasks with confidence, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Experience with PowerBI and Oracle is beneficial.
In return, the company offers a salary ranging from £38,000 - £40,000, employee discount, pension scheme, and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office four days a week and one from home.
