About the Role
In this role, you will be at the heart of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all allocated tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and to our high Harrods standard. Reporting to Adrian and Alina, you will work closely with colleagues to keep stock moving, support processing teams, and maintain a safe, tidy environment. Your daily tasks will include:
- Collecting paperwork from the Admin Office and matching it with physical stock.
- Moving stock to the correct inbound or outbound lanes.
- Preparing goods for dispatch, including wrapping and stacking pallets.
- Moving returned or reallocated stock to the right areas.
- Assisting colleagues with moving stock, refilling totes, and re-wrapping pallets.
- Supporting smaller processing jobs during quieter periods, such as re-ticketing or sorting tags.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, efficient workspace.
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, moving pallets, and standing for long periods. You must be over 18 to apply.
As part of the team at Thatcham, you will also benefit from a heavily subsidised canteen offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and all-day snacks, local recognition schemes with £25 prizes, exclusive giveaways, and staff trips to our Knightsbridge store. In addition, Harrods offers a range of company-wide benefits including up to 33% Harrods staff discount, subsidised medical and dental cover, discounted gym membership and more.
About You
You will be a reliable, hard-working team player with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in getting the job done to the highest standard. You will:
- Be fit, healthy, and comfortable with manual handling.
- Have excellent timekeeping skills.
- Be quick-thinking, adaptable, and happy to support across different tasks.
- Be willing to learn and take initiative, even if you haven’t worked in a warehouse before.
- Previous warehouse experience is welcome but not essential; the right attitude and work ethic are what matter most.
