Who we're looking for:
We're looking for a repairs technician who has a particular focus on carpentry to carry out reactive and planned works in our customers' homes. You'll be completing installations, repairs and maintenance work. This will include staircases, windows, doors, and furniture, as well as some minor after trade work such as brickwork, plastering and basic plumbing. Doing your job brilliantly means completing your work to the highest level, first time, and making sure we always work in accordance with rules, regulations and our contract. You'll also keep and maintain records for audit purposes, work collaboratively with other teams, and make sure we're always working safely.
Your experience in a similar all-round multi-trade role along with the ability to undertake various tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, patch plastering and tiling will mean you're able to make a difference to our customers' repairs straight away. By always understanding you're working in a customer's home and taking the time to listen, understand and identify the best way forward, you'll help us to deliver the highest level of customer service and keep our homes safe.
Due to the nature of the role being within occupied premises, you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check if offered the role.
