Our client, a well‑known and reputable multi‑franchise approved car dealership located in the Treforest region, requires an experienced and professional Parts Advisor to join their business following the retirement of one of their current members of staff. You will report to the Aftersales Manager and work as part of a friendly team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive all parts orders and accurately identify requirements.
- Ensure that parts are picked and dispatched promptly.
- Process customer parts requirements, maintaining a courteous and professional approach in a busy trade parts sales environment.
- Be sales‑oriented and target‑driven to ensure successful parts growth.
- Adhere at all times to all company policies and procedures applicable to the area of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Recent or current automotive vehicle parts experience, ideally working with car vehicle parts; candidates from a motor freight background are also welcome.
- Residence within a commutable distance of Treforest.
- IT literate and able to work daily with a dealer management system (Kerridge/CDK) and an electronic parts catalogue system.
- UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Strong customer service and sales skills, friendly and charismatic manner.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £26,450 per annum plus a performance‑related bonus of £1,500–3,000 per annum.
