Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Collections Engagement Officer to help bring our heritage collections to life for local communities, schools and visitors. This post forms part of a successful application to the Priorities for Culture – Enhanced Local Sector Support for Museums, Archives & Libraries programme and is essential for achieving the project’s outcomes.
Working within the Culture, Leisure and Visitor Experience Division and reporting to the Cultural Engagement Officer, you will take a leading role in creating meaningful engagement opportunities that increase awareness, access and enjoyment of our collections. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vibrant cultural environment and play a key part in connecting people with our unique heritage.
Key Responsibilities- Experience of developing learning resources and the organisation of collections engagement activities are essential.
- Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their ability to successfully manage a wide range of duties and co‑ordinate the delivery of excellent engagement activities.
This is a fixed‑term contract, initially until 31/10/2026.
