We have an exciting opportunity for a Sensory Practitioner in the Adaptations, Community Equipment & Sensory Services Team. The team is based in Ty Elai, Williamstown but covers the whole of RCT and utilises agile working. This is a permanent position and the grade applicable to the Post is GR7 - £31,022.
The purpose of the post is to undertake person centred and strength-based specialist assessments of people with sensory impairments to identify what matters to them in relation to their sensory needs. To develop sensory plans and provide a variety of equipment, services and interventions to people in their own homes which promotes safety and independence.
To identify and signpost/refer to appropriate services and third sector agencies where required. To support the work of the specialist visual impairment workers in the sensory services team.
