The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.
The Security section of the CCTV unit provides alarm/key holder response service for various service areas throughout RCT. As a mobile security officer your role will include attending and patrolling buildings, schools and leisure facilities, depots and council offices. You will be required to use a tag-monitored reporting system and liaise with the CCTV control centre staff, police and other agencies when necessary.
Working as required, including shift work, bank holidays and weekends, you will form part of a small team in a closed and confidential environment. Capable of working on your own initiative with the ability to prioritise, you should demonstrate excellent communication skills. You must be able to work and concentrate under pressure with the ability to cope with incidents calmly. Effective observation skills and attention to detail are vital. You need to be computer literate and able to operate the surveillance system following a period of training. You must hold a valid UK driving licence.
