RCT Council is recruiting for its Apprenticeship Scheme, offering opportunities to work in a vibrant environment, learn transferable skills, meet diverse people, and develop a professional career in Rhondda Cynon Taf. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, gaining job-specific knowledge and skills. The scheme allows you to earn a wage while working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration through a local college.

Who We’re Looking For

The Facilities Cleaning team seeks a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, adaptability, good communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities and work independently or as part of a team.

What Will You Study?

All apprentices will be supported to complete a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.

Pay and Benefits

This is a fixed-term, two-year post starting in September, paid at National Minimum Wage depending on age:

  • 21 & over: Β£12.21
  • 18-20: Β£10.00
  • Under 18: Β£7.55

Benefits include earning while learning, tailored induction, ongoing support, in-house training, hybrid working, pension scheme, 26 days annual leave, subsidised leisure memberships, and a Vivup discount card.

Eligibility and Application Details

Applicants who have already gained a similar Level 3 qualification in the same role are not eligible. Applications in Welsh will be treated equally.
