Enquiry Assessment Team (2 posts – 1 x East & 1 x West).
Ty Elai Offices, Williamstown.
Grade11 (£42,839) – Entry Social Worker grade and registration with Social Care Wales.
Grade12 (£46,142) – Experienced Social Worker grade ~ minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience and registration with Social Care Wales.
Responsibilities
- Accept case responsibility from strategy discussions under s47 enquires up to Initial Child Protection Conference.
- Co‑produce care plans and assist families through transition to care and support team.
- Manage a defined caseload while building and maintaining links with partner agencies.
- Attend regular supervision, peer mentoring and reflective session opportunities.
Qualifications
- Professional recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registered and maintain registration as a \’Social Worker\’ with Social Care Wales on appointment.
- Minimum 3 years post‑qualifying experience (for GR12) and evidence of registration with Social Care Wales.
- Sound understanding of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act and other relevant legislation.
- Strong assessment, communication and planning skills.
