Job Description
RCT Council Contract Project Team is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of exciting civil engineering projects including highway infrastructure, transportation, land reclamation, drainage and flood risk management.

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Technician (Operations) to join the team to help deliver a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects, ranging from small scale improvements to large scale infrastructure projects. The successful applicant will assist in the supervision of Contractors in the delivery of civil engineering construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with the Councils programme, within budget and to a high standard.

This permanent full-time position will be a site based role, with the opportunity for agile working from home. Employment is based on a 37 hour week under the flexible working hours scheme, with 26 days annual leave (rising to 31 days after 5 years), and benefit from access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. You will be provided with a laptop to enable an agile working arrangement.
