Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a stable, rewarding role with excellent benefits, ongoing training, and real career development opportunities? RCT Fleet Services is looking for a skilled, motivated, and reliable technician to join our busy workshop team based at Treforest Industrial Estate. Working on a varied and modern fleet — from small vans to heavy refuse collection vehicles — no two days are the same. As part of our Fleet Services team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping essential frontline vehicles safe, compliant, and operational for the local community.
The Role
- Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with current DVSA regulations
- Diagnose and repair faults across a diverse fleet of vehicles
- Help ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and professional workshop environment
Working Pattern
This is a full-time, 37 hour per week position operating on a two-shift rota:
- Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00 Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 13:30 Friday
- Week 2: 13:30 – 21:30 Monday to Thursday, 11:30 – 19:00 Friday
The role also includes participation in an on-call rota, with additional pay enhancements.
