About the Role
Catering Services are looking for a self–motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Breakfast Club Assistant at Maesybryn Primary. Working hours will be approximately 1 hour a day, usually between 7:50am and 8:50am, Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- Assist with the preparation, presentation and serving of breakfast food and juice.
- Meet and greet children and parents using a digital tablet for pupil registration.
- Assist with the preparation of games and activities with the children.
- Assist with the supervision of children as required.
- Set-up and clear away tables, chairs and serveries.
About You
The successful candidate will have a positive outlook, be a good communicator and be excited at the prospect of working as part of a breakfast club team. All successful casual applicants must have a willingness to work towards gaining a food safety certificate.
Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council. In addition to safeguarding responsibility, the successful applicant for this role will also be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
