Occupational Health Clinical Nurse Lead

Municipal Buildings, Pontypridd, CF37 2DP. The Occupational Health team is multi‑disciplinary, operated by Occupational Health Nurses, Physiotherapists, Counsellors, Occupational Health Technician, and administrative support. The team plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our employees, utilising specialist expertise to deliver clinical assessments and supportive interventions.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate qualified nurse with a keen interest in working collaboratively to support and preserve the health and safety of individuals in work.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Health Manager in the effective co‑ordination, development, and management of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing service.
- Provide effective management and support to the clinical team ensuring the team achieves its outcomes.
- Use clinical skills to assess and support employees through the Occupational Health journey.
- Work predominantly from the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Unit in Pontypridd, undertaking clinical assessments and supervising the clinical team.
- A hybrid working pattern may be discussed with the Occupational Health Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
The appointed nurse will have a nursing qualification and relevant clinical experience. Enhanced disclosure and barring service check required. Safeguarding responsibility: Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council.
