Job Description Domestic Assistant (Kitchen based) 35 hours per week TROEDYRHIW HOUSE CARE HOME, TROEDYRHIW ROAD, MOUNTAIN ASH CF45 4LD. The successful applicant must have the ability to build good relationships with service users and will have a knowledge of all aspects of kitchen duties.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to COSHH regulations regarding any chemicals.
- Perform administrative tasks which include cleaning schedules and completing safer food better business.
- Work alongside the Kitchen team and deputise for the Cook in her absence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Positive outlook and an understanding of the needs of older people.
- Previous experience of working with or spending time with older people (advantage).
- Willingness to complete Core Qualification in Health and Social Care, Food and Hygiene, and any training relevant to prepare for the role.
