We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Social Care Worker to provide care and support to individuals within our Learning Disability Respite Homes on a flexible basis.

Experience supporting people within a social care respite setting is desirable but not essential. Successful applicants will be expected to bring their own life experiences and skills to the role, receive induction, ongoing training and supervision, and complete mandatory training including Positive Behaviour Management, PEG feeding training and other relevant courses.

Applicants must be committed to obtaining or demonstrating the relevant qualifications, work in accordance with the Code of Professional Practice for Social Care, and register with Social Care Wales.

Shift Pattern: Due to services being delivered 365 days per year, the post requires covering a range of shifts on a rota basis, including:

  • days
  • evenings
  • wake nights
  • weekends
