Overview

Join to apply for the Intermediate Care Worker role at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

We have opportunities for people who share our values to join our Intermediate Care and Rehabilitation Service.

We operate 365 days a year with hours from 7:30am to 10:00pm. Support staff work 5 days out of 7 with rotas provided in advance and as much flexibility as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Support rehabilitation programmes centred around the individual, maximising independence and quality of life.
  • Provide short-term care to assist individuals to regain independence in their own homes.

Qualifications and qualities

  • Dedicated, reliable, willing to learn new skills and able to use own initiative.
  • Ability to travel independently throughout the County Borough.

Employment details

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Hours: 16 or 20 hours per week contracts (and other hours as required by role).
