Our catering teams are skilled in transforming seasonal ingredients into nutritious cooked meals that help to educate young people to support healthier lifestyles.
About The Role
Catering Services are looking for a self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual to support YGGG Llantrisant. Duties will include different elements of food preparation and food serving, as well as washing up and cleaning in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. The service operates term time only, Monday to Friday with working hours ranging between 9 a.m. & 2.00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and serving in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Wash up and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures for food safety and hygiene.
- Support other kitchen staff as required.
Qualifications
- Dedicated and reliable person.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Food safety certificate – Level 2 (or willingness to obtain).
