Job Overview
The role involves building good relationships with service users and performing all aspects of kitchen duties.
Responsibilities
- Build good relationships with service users.
- Handle all kitchen duties with knowledge and competence.
- Adhere to COSHH regulations regarding chemicals.
- Complete administrative tasks, including cleaning schedules and safer food business.
- Work alongside the Kitchen team and deputise for the Cook in her absence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Positive outlook and understanding of the needs of older people.
- Experience working with or spending time with older people is an advantage.
- Core Qualification in Health and Social Care, Food and Hygiene, and any other relevant training will be provided.
Safeguarding
Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council. An enhanced disclosure and barring service check will also be required.
