Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cook to join RCT Catering Services, working in Tonysguboriau Primary School.
Working hours will be approximately 5 hours a day, usually between 9.00am and 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The position will involve full running of a kitchen and managing the team. Main duties will include food planning, food preparation, cooking, serving meals to the children, cleaning down the kitchen and washing up as part of a team.
You will also be expected to complete staff timesheets, stock ordering and all kitchen paperwork including an on-line document for food safety compliance.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following attributes: –
- Strong experience in cooking and able to work under pressure.
- Possess good communication skills with a can-do attitude.
- Food Safety Certificates.
- Ability to adhere and follow all rules and procedures.
All successful applicants must have a Food Safety Certificate Level 3 or be prepared to undertake and complete a Level 3 within the first week of employment. The catering training team will support the successful candidate to gain this qualification.
