The Arts Service is looking for an enthusiastic and welcoming Casual Duty Manager to work at Gartholwg Lifelong Learning Centre in Church Village. You will be expected to welcome visitors, support the Centre Manager and Front of House Manager with the running of its programmes, and ensure a high level of customer care at all times. Conversing and greeting customers in Welsh is essential for this post.
Duties:
- Act as manager in charge of the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager.
- Secure the stock and money at the end of each shift.
- Support with day-to-day enquiries, including Pro‑Venue requests.
- Work daytime, evenings and occasional weekends as required.
Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council. The successful applicant will also be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
