About Us
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Catering Service has a proud record of achievement and prides itself on its dynamic workforce. We are currently looking to strengthen our casual Primary Breakfast Club workforce by recruiting motivated, flexible individuals willing to work in Primary Schools across the Rhondda, Cynon or Taf areas. Please be assured, we will always place you in a Primary Breakfast Club that is close to your home or workplace.
About The Role
All Primary Schools offer an early morning Breakfast Club. They operate term-time only, Monday to Friday with working hours usually from 7.50am to 8.50am. These times may differ slightly for each school. Duties will include:
- Assist with the preparation, presentation and serving of breakfast food and juice.
- Meet and greet children and parents using a digital tablet for pupil registration.
- Assist with the preparation of games and activities with the children.
- Assist with the supervision of children as required.
- Set-up and clear away tables, chairs and serveries.
About You
The successful candidate will have a positive outlook, be a good communicator and be excited at the prospect of working as part of a breakfast club team. All successful casual applicants must have a willingness to work towards gaining a food safety certificate.
