Job Description: SCHOOL CLEANING POST VARIOUS AREAS IN RCT. TERM TIME ONLY – PERMANENT PART TIME
The Council’s Facilities Cleaning service is responsible for the cleaning of various buildings throughout the Borough including schools. We are looking for dedicated members of staff, capable of working in a school/crèche environment and able to use their own initiative.
About Us: Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cleaning Services has a proud record of achievements and prides itself on its dedicated, loyal workforce. Our cleaners are trained by our own Qualified Assessors that are dedicated to this service.
About the role: Working as a cleaner in a school environment operates term time only, Monday to Friday. The cleaning must take place before 8 am or after 3 pm. You will be fully trained and will be required to clean to a high standard.
- Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School - Beddau: 1 X 7.15hrs per week - 3pm to 4.30pm - 1.30hrs per day (1.15hrs Fri)
- Ysgol Garth Olwg, Church Village: 1 X 10 hrs per week – 6am to 8am - 2 hrs per day (All year), 1 X 20 hrs per week – 4pm to 8pm – 4 hrs per day
- Llanharri Primary – Llanharri: 1 x 10 hrs per week – 6.00am to 8.00am
- Maesybryn Primary - Crown Hill: 2 X 12.30hrs per week - 3.30pm to 6.00pm – 2.30hrs per day
- St John Baptist Church in Wales High School – Aberdare: 3 x 10hrs per week – 3pm to 5pm – 2hrs per day, 1 x 11.15hrs per week – 3pm – 5.15pm – 2.15hrs per day
- Pontyclun Primary - Pontyclun: 1 X 10hrs per week – 6.00am to 8.00am - 2hrs per day, 2 X 10hrs per week - 3.30pm to 5.30pm - 2hrs per day, 1 X 7.30hrs per week - 3.30pm to 5pm - 1.30hrs per day
About you: To be successful in this role, you must have the following attributes:
- You must be dedicated, reliable and willing to learn new skills.
- You will also be responsible for ordering cleaning materials, maintaining your cleaning equipment.
