Fitness Suite Assistant in Abercynon

1 x 15 hour per week post. 1 x 24 hours 45 minutes per week post. This opportunity is for highly motivated and flexible individuals knowledgeable in Health and Fitness to join the Fitness Suite team at Abercynon Sports Centre. These posts are advertised on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customers using equipment.
• Induct new members.
• Compile training programmes.
• Take fitness classes.
• Deal with customers of all fitness levels and abilities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification or equivalent.
• Preferable experience in a similar busy environment and awareness of current fitness trends.
• First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable).
• Current Fitness Class Instruction certificates (desirable).
• Fitness Assessment qualification / GP Referral Qualifications (desirable).
• Work towards achieving these within an agreed timescale.
