- Handyperson
- Monday to Friday: 9am – 6pm
The Handyperson will have a practical role to ensure the upkeep of One Palace Street is executed to an excellent standard.
They will have knowledge across a wide variety of trade skills - plumbing, small construction and repair, paint & decorating, and statutory compliance.
They will need a great eye for detail, be professional and friendly, and ensure that the development is maintained at all times.
The Role
- Conduct general site maintenance inside and out as directed by the Management team.
- Carry out regular inspections of all areas of the development to check that fixtures, fittings, and equipment for use are all in working order.
- Repair and maintain all landlord areas where possible.
- Assist the Facilities Manager with contractors and suppliers on site.
- Ensure all stock, tools and materials are stored safely.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and policies are respected and implemented in accordance with legislation and company requirements.
- Proactively work to ensure that the planned maintenance programme is implemented in the most efficient manner.
- Implement programmed maintenance cleaning.
- Carry out external areas, car park and refuse store & paladin cleaning regime.
- Required Experience and Technical Competency
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in a similar role within hotels or residential developments
- Preferably new build experience within a similar environment
- Qualifications (e. g. City and Guilds) in one or more trades
- Self-directed and able to work under pressure
- Committed to delivering high level of service with a warm and friendly approach.
