Job Purpose
To carry out maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on plant machinery in a workshop environment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide variety of cutting-edge machinery in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on construction and earthmoving machinery according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Fault find, report, repair and replace any issues.
- Monitor and replenish lubricants and fluids as required.
- Carry out preventative maintenance.
- Clean, inspect, and prepare plant equipment for redeployment or transfer.
- Fit replacement parts and support team members during major maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong mechanical knowledge in plant equipment including excavators, dumpers, rollers etc.
- Experience working with construction/plant equipment and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform maintenance to manufacturer standards.
- Understanding of risk assessments and method statements.
Personal Attributes:
- Proactive and self-motivated.
