Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Manager to drive specification-led sales across London and the South East for a market-leading manufacturer of intelligent light management, building intelligence and work space management. This role focuses on influencing projects at design stage, working closely with consultants, large electrical contractors, and end users to secure product specification and deliver projects through to completion. The successful candidate will be a consultative, technically credible sales professional with a strong track record in project and specification sales, capable of engaging stakeholders across the full project lifecycle. You will promote innovative solutions that support energy efficiency, smart workspaces, and intelligent buildings, positioning the business as a trusted partner rather than a commodity supplier. This is a strategic, relationship-driven role suited to someone comfortable managing long sales cycles, protecting specifications through tender, and developing a sustainable project pipeline within a key region.

Responsibilities:
- Influence specifications at design stage by working closely with consultants, architects, and other specifiers.
- Develop and manage a strong project pipeline across London and the South East, targeting commercial and large-scale developments.
- Promote intelligent lighting, sensing, and building management solutions, aligning products to energy efficiency, compliance, and smart building requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including technical support, internal sales, lighting design, and operations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting.
- Monitor market activity, competitor products, and project opportunities to identify new business and specification potential.
Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience in a Project Sales / Specification Sales role.
- Demonstrable track record of selling to consultants, specifiers, end users, and large electrical contracting organisations in and around London.
- Strong understanding of project-led, long sales cycle environments and influencing decisions at design stage.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with effective territory and pipeline management skills.
- Confident delivering presentations, and product demonstrations to professional audiences.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London.
