A leading manufacturer of cable management solutions is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Area Sales Manager to cover Scotland region. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and driven to excel in all areas of commercial and technical customer engagement.

The Role:

  • Maintaining and increasing sales of cable management products
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Developing relationships with Electrical Contractors, Wholesalers and Specifiers
  • Representing the Company at exhibitions and events
  • Adept at sales planning, objective setting and action generation and resolution
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Maintaining CRM system

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • A proven track record in a business development / area sales role
  • Experience of working with electrical contractors and wholesalers
  • Ability to negotiate commercial agreements i.e. proven numeracy, analytical and negotiation experience
  • Adept at sales planning, objective setting and action generation and resolution
  • Due to the requirements of the role the post holder must be flexible and mobile, in order that they can react to changes in both the customers’ and business’s priorities

Hours: 08.00 to 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 08.00 to 13.00 Friday
