We are recruiting for a trade counter sales assistant / warehouse person with a driving licence for relief driving for a well regarded business selling products to the trade and retail sector.
Their ethos is to provide good customer care to ensure repeat business and a loyal customer base. They are well established and successful and have many long term members of staff.
- The Trade Counter responsibilities
- To ensure orders for customers are prepared and processed promptly and accurately.
- Assisting customers and helping with enquiries at the trade counter
- Taking customer orders and quotes.
- Administration duties, producing quotes and invoices
- To ensure any complaints or issues raised by customers are quickly resolved.
- Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers and colleagues.
- Other sales / customer service related duties as required.
- Warehouse responsibilities
- Goods in
- Picking, packing products for delivery to customers
- Keeping the general warehouse tidy and organised
- Relief delivery driving on an ad hoc basis
Skills & Experience needed?
- Electrical product sales knowledge and experience is an advantage although not essential
- Manage, meet and exceed customer expectations
- Good customer service skills and enjoys dealing with people
- The ability to build relationships with a variety of customers
- Have worked on the trade counter before in a similar trade sales environment
- Full UK driving licence for relief delivery driving when required
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Friendly, articulate, customer focused
- Compute literate
