Overview:

Are you an experienced electrical wholesale professional looking for more than just another sales role? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent electrical wholesaler based in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is a business where your ideas, expertise and initiative will be heard and valued. We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual with electrical wholesale experience who enjoys building strong customer relationships and leading by example. Alongside developing sales opportunities, you'll play an important role in coaching and supporting the branch's sales apprentices, helping to develop the next generation of industry talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, delivering excellent service and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
  • Proactively contact warm leads and lapsed customers to generate new sales opportunities and increase revenue.
  • Identify and win new business through targeted outbound prospecting and cold calling activities.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers across a range of electrical products and solutions.
  • Follow up quotations in a timely manner, overcoming objections and converting opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
  • Support junior colleagues with product and technical queries, sharing knowledge to develop the wider team.
  • Identify and act on cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the product range.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business, promoting its values, reputation and commitment to customer service.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team to ensure orders are dispatched correctly and on time.

Experience / Skills:

  • Electrical Wholesale experience
  • Confident dealing with customers over the phone, including cold calling for new business
  • Team player - Happy to support others and work towards company goals together
  • A positive and hardworking attitude, with the ability to work in a busy sales environment
  • Good IT skills

Hours: Alternating shifts - Week one: 7:30am - 4:30pm / Week two: 8:30am - 5:30pm No weekends
