Ref - JR2024 Vacancy - Branch Manager Location - Biggleswade area, Bedfordshire Industry - Electrical Products Working hours - Monday to Friday (flexible start times) - with one Saturday morning per month on a rota Salary - up to circa £50K neg + bonuses + company car Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to take full control of our clients branch in the Biggleswade area You'll be responsible for driving sales with full operational responsibility including purchasing and team management. It's a hands on role working as part of the team, whilst supervising and driving business growth Package / Benefits: • Salary up to circa £50K neg • Company car • Bonus scheme • Laptop • Company phone • Health insurance option • Pension scheme • Annual overseas company trip • 22 days holiday + bank holidays increasing with length of service Responsibilities: • As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the contribution by the branch in line with the business plans and overall company policy and strategy • Responsible for managing and achieving branch budgets and targets • Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts • Participating in proactive and reactive sales – both internally and externally based • Ensure that your team meet operational standards • Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities Skills / Experience: • Confident working with key performance indicators with an impressive track record in delivering on sales, profit and margin targets • Ability to manage and motivate a team and lead by example • Ability to communicate at all levels, whether it be with your team or negotiating with your customer • Dynamic, good sense of humour and a great attitude when dealing with people • Full UK Driving Licence Working hours: • Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm OR 7.30am to 4.30pm OR 8am to 5pm + 1 Saturday a month on a rota 8am to 12pm The ideal candidate will have some electrical product knowledge and have existing supervisory or management experience in a trade merchant environment.
