I have a great opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer and distributor within the electrical industry. They are looking for a professional, self-motivated person with drive and ambition to cover the Northwest area.

Applicants must have:

  • Proven history and experience of field sales and/or Specification of electrical products to Developers / Contractors / Councils / HAs
  • Applicants should live within the Northwest /West Midlands region
  • Excellent communication and literacy skills essential
  • Full UK driving license

The role:

  • Ensuring that a defined list of current developer customers and contractors within their area are visited as required.
  • Developing a portfolio of new customers in the area
  • Obtaining specification of products with house builders, local authorities, major contractors and with companies via leads in the area covered.
  • Setting up rebates and prices with new specifiers
  • Communication of specifications secured to the senior management team.
  • Liaising with all current major specifiers and new within the area, i.e. attending meetings, arranging display boards and samples.
  • Liaising with the technical department and Regional Specification manager with regard to issues from contractors /developers on product performance.
  • Liaising with Regional Specification Manager on contractor and wholesaler pricing for developer products.

Salary up to circa £47,500 depending on experience plus bonus and benefits, company car. All applications are dealt with in the strictest of confidence.
