Asbestos Removal Operative & Supervisor

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to appoint experienced Asbestos Removal Operatives & Supervisors in the Aldermaston/ Reading area to conduct work on a Nuclear / Defence site.

Job Role:

An Asbestos Removal Operative is required to conduct site set up and safe abatement of asbestos containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works.

Supervisors will assist the Contract Manager to complete the works on time and to budget as well as safely, according to all regulatory requirements and with all relevant documentation accurately completed.

Operatives & Supervisors may be asked to work various shift patterns including weekends.

Job Role:

Two years’ experience as a qualified Operative or Supervisor.

  • Training certificates (Asbestos medical, Face fits, Refresher training).
  • Experience in the Nuclear / Defence sector is preferred.
  • Security clearances – SC or DV clearance preferred, but not essential.
  • Friendly, calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physically fit.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Full driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
