Our client, a Principal Contractor specialising in interior/exterior construction and refurbishment of retail premises and commercial property, are looking for Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor close to their offices in Essex. There are 4 operating divisions within the company, all offering the turnkey package from design inception to build completion.

Our client is looking for somebody who has experience working on smaller, fast tracked fit-out projects circa £250k to £3m in value.

Must be able to:

  • Produce accurate cost value reconciliations and profit & loss forecasts.
  • Procure and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Must have:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Fit-out experience.
  • Proficiency in construction software.
  • Organised and commercially aware.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Ambitious and a team player.
