We are currently seeking two experienced Power System Studies Engineers to support major international onshore energy projects.

Key Details

  • Start: ASAP
  • Rate: £65 per hour (Outside IR35)
  • Location: Surrey
  • Working Pattern: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Purpose of the Role

You will be providing power system studies support for onshore projects, working closely with project teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality engineering studies.

Scope of Work

  • Running and reviewing power system studies
  • Equipment sizing and system analysis
  • Overseeing third-party study vendors
  • Delivering studies using EMT software

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience with captive power generation with proven capability in:
  • Load flow
  • Short circuit
  • Dynamic motor starting
  • Harmonic studies
  • Arc flash
  • Transient stability
  • Intermediate proficiency in ETAP, with a strong understanding of power systems within large-scale onshore projects
